I had the honour of hearing Mr.Navin's talk at the Wealth Forum Platinum Circle meet. It is always abpleasure listening to him. He esposuses some very practical ideas and I fully agree with him on going back to the basics. we unnecessarily complicate matters while building portfolios. |

Wonderful idea. We still need more educated IFAs who are customer centric not sales target centric. When the selling stops, the advising starts!! |

A good article for avakening of advisors for retail penetration. We think that we recieve a huge revenue from a small investor on first day meeting.firstly we make beneficial plan for investor and then ask for income. |

1) Good statistics 2) AMC gets the investor on Board through FMP and liquid Funds and then Starts sending Direct mailer on email / courier to Investor , ignoring the distributor who brought them on board. 3) Indians are Investors. Since March 2008 to march 2012 - 4 years many investors have stayed in equity fund with no returns. AMC need to see there fund performance before pointing figures to others. 4)Birla MF is in existance for 17 years (1994).What efforts have they done for retail and new equity business. Most assets they hold since years are in debt. |

Good trick adopted.. But with some mis selling.. How long liquid funds be able to give 4-5% more than bank s/b rates? Do see 5 year rolling returns of liquid funds since its inception.. and than argue.. I AM afraid who shall pay house expenses after 2013-14? Most fund managers expect interest rates to come down drastically.. |
