Investors are half becked, over smart, want high returns with no risk and in short term, erratic in decisions, stop SIP at wrong time, in short time after judging scheme returns in 6/7 months only, do not want to give time horizon for their investments, still not out of mindset of postal, PPF and Old UTI monthly income schemes giving 12/14% p.a. returns. Investor education has not reached the depth it should. Many still fall pray to relation, friend adviser rather than going for professional advice. Hence CFP model is not flourishing after so many years.
