Your analogy about large cap&mid cap are very elaborative & knowledgeable. As far as Public sector banks are concerned, they are least bothered about liberally sanctioning loans to persons like Malavya of King Fishers & Venkat Ram Reddy of Deccan Chronicle without applying their mind to impact their ability to pay back.As the banks are indiscriminately sanctioning loans that runs into several crores of rupees without proper documentation knowingly or unknowingly which leads to wide spread distress. In most of the cases, they are finding it hard to recover thereby rendering to bankruptcy. Even theyre unable to pay dividends to Share Holders in comparing & contrasting with that of Private Sector Banks. Not only they run their respective banks in a very sound manner &at the same time they pay dividends very handsomely.

The scheme is good and other funds of FRANKLIN are also good but they have to improve their service. Rather than setting the parameters from their own perspectives they should be responsive to the needs of the customers and advisors.
