Just because there is a gold vendor , people are not flocking at them. Same is the case with MFs. just by selling direct share class , or even using the e commerce , people will not be flocking them, so much so that their sites will crash. Who is there to create a need to buy their products is all important. Also, most of the negative growth AMCs are those where the CEO thought that distributor is irrelevant.
