Wonder what happens when say a Bania shop sells his goods . This is all cash , son does the onus lie on the Bania to collect the GST ?

Very well articulated but again BIG impact on IFAs, GST will replace the Service Tax and we will have to pay 16-18% GST ????

Very well written article. Implications of GST explained in simple language. Really surprised to know that already 160 countries are using this system. One query though - why real estate has been kept out of the gambit of this tax? Much of the input material comes from different parts of country.

How its going to impacts companies and their balance sheet and what implication that can have on markets? And how for economy it is a boom? or what are the merits of it on the economy?

GST is the implementation of all taxes levied but now it is discuses about CGST and SGST which is confusing. Follow in one single window taxes or GST.
